Bridal Path is an equestrian community in the southwestern region of Simi Valley, California. Residents enjoy beautiful views of the valley and mountains.
Bridal Path is comprised of 630 homes and this subdivision was created in 1978. Most of the estates sit on at least a half acre of land. The community includes two round pens and seven arenas along with a private mountain park that covers 1,700 acres. There are horse trails down one side of every street and they connect to the park trails.
This community is served by the Simi Valley Unified School District with highly ranked facilities like Sinaloa Middle School as well as Lincoln Elementary School and Royal High School. There are several private institutions to choose from including Arroyo Montessori, Faith Academy, and Good Shepherd Lutheran School. Many higher learning schools are in this region like Ventura College, Moorpark College, and Cal State Northridge.
There are miles of trails in the Challenger Park that lead to open areas like Lone Oak Canyon, Trough Canyon, and Long Canyon. This park features 141 acres of wilderness. To the south is the Santa Monica Mountains Recreation Area which offers many preserves and parks like the Topanga State Park and the Whitestone National Park.
Simi Valley is considered to be a commuter bedroom community with residents working in larger areas like the San Fernando Valley, Ventura County, and Los Angeles.
Notable landmarks include the Big Sky Ranch where Little House on the Prairie and Poltergeist was filmed. And Corriganville Regional Park was once a movie ranch where Mackenzie’s Raiders was filmed.
